A school bus drives away. A boy, Ben, and his robot friend, Moby, are standing outside a house. They open the door and go inside.
BEN: I'm hungry.
Moby closes the door.
MOBY: Beep!
They walk into the kitchen and look around.
BEN: Let's see.
There is a bowl of fruit on the counter.
BEN: What's there to eat and to drink?
Ben opens a cabinet. There is a loaf of bread inside.
BEN: There's some bread.
MOBY: Beep!
Ben opens the refrigerator door. There is a carton of milk, a bottle of water, and a piece of cheese inside. Ben and Moby look at the cheese.
BEN: There's some cheese.
Moby takes the cheese from the refrigerator and sniffs it.
He frowns and tosses the cheese.
Ben points to the milk.
BEN: There's some milk.
Ben points to the water.
BEN: There's some water, too.
MOBY: Beep.
Ben hands the bottle of water to Moby. Moby drinks some of it, then smiles and wipes his mouth.
MOBY: Beep.
Ben places a bag of apples on the counter.
BEN: There are some apples.
MOBY: Beep?
BEN: How many apples?
Ben puts the apples on the counter and counts them. There are two groups of four apples each.
BEN: There are eight apples.
Ben points to the bowl of oranges and bananas.
BEN: There are some oranges.
MOBY: Beep!
Ben takes oranges from the bowl and juggles with them. Some fall onto the counter.
BEN: How many?
A drumroll sounds while Moby juggles the oranges. They fall on the counter in a pile. There are four oranges at the bottom, three in the middle, and two on the top.
BEN: Nine. There are nine oranges. And there are some bananas.
Moby slides the bowl of bananas over to Ben.
MOBY: Beep?
BEN: How many?
Ben puts the bananas on the counter. There are a group of four and two groups of three.
BEN: Ten bananas.
Ben offers a banana to Moby.
MOBY: Beep.
Moby doesn't want the banana. He pictures three cookies.
MOBY: Beep!
BEN: Hmmm. Cookies.
Ben takes a box of cookies from a cabinet.
BEN: Are there any cookies?
Ben opens the box and finds only crumbs inside.
BEN: Sorry. There aren't any cookies.
Moby pictures a chocolate bar.
MOBY: Beep?
BEN: Ok. Is there any chocolate?
Ben looks inside a cabinet. Moby walks up behind him.
MOBY: Beep!
Ben turns his head around to look at Moby.
BEN: I'm looking for some!
Ben looks in the cabinet again. He shows Moby two small pieces of chocolate he found.
BEN: There is some chocolate.
Moby and Ben each eat a piece of chocolate.
MOBY: Beep!
They look down at the empty chocolate wrappers. There's a ding sound as Moby pictures a bowl of three scoops of ice cream with chocolate fudge on top. Ben opens up the refrigerator's freezer.
BEN: Hmmm. Is there any ice cream?
There are four containers of ice cream and an onion. Ben looks excited.
MOBY: Beep?
BEN: Yes, there is!
Moby looks into the freezer.
MOBY: Beep?
BEN: How much? There's lots of ice cream!
Ben takes out the largest container of ice cream and sees the onion.
MOBY: Beep!
BEN: And, there's an onion.
Moby zips away and gets two bowls and spoons. They each have a bowl with three scoops of ice cream and chocolate sauce on top. Ben offers the onion to Moby.
MOBY: Beep!
Moby plops the onion in his ice cream. Moby is excited. He lifts his hands up in anticipation of eating the ice cream.
BEN: OK! Let's eat!
Moby wiggles his fingers.
Moby holds up the onion and sniffs it.
MOBY: Beep!
He takes a bite of the onion, chews, swallows it, and smiles. He eats a spoonful of ice cream. Some of it is on his face. Ben and Moby both eat their ice cream. They get ice cream on their faces.
